Harrison Katz

Alternate Governor

Harrison Katz serves as an Alternate Governor of the Edmonton Oilers and has been a member of the Katz Group Board since 2020, where he contributes to the strategic oversight of the organization’s sports, entertainment, and investment platforms. Later this year, he will join BDT & MSD Partners as an Associate in its Merchant Banking group, following prior internships with the firm.

Harrison has gained experience across both the business and hockey operations of the Oilers organization, as well as with the Canadian Women’s Olympic Hockey Team. In 2014, he co-founded Hockey Helps Kids, a charitable initiative dedicated to supporting youth through sport and community engagement.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 2022 and will graduate from New York University in May 2026 with a joint Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration. His areas of focus include finance, corporate law, and long-term strategic investing.
