Current Projects

Village at ICE District

Village at ICE District is located at the gateway to Downtown Edmonton. Framed by Rogers Place and ICE District, these lands are positioned as an extension of the downtown core, including direct access to the MacEwan LRT. Detailed design, planning and site servicing work is underway for Village at ICE District, expanding on the vision, vibrancy and energy of ICE District, offering complementary uses and activation while transitioning into a dynamic, yet relaxed vibe – a downtown urban village.

A. Macdonald Building

Built in 1913 and now a historic landmark in downtown Edmonton, the A. Macdonald Building is one of Edmonton’s most distinguished examples of commercial warehouse architecture. A landmark in the Central McDougall area, the building was a storage facility for wholesale grocery goods, among a variety of other uses over the years. OEGSE is working on plans to restore the architectural facade of this Edmonton landmark, which is within the Village at ICE District lands.

ICE District Phase I

Canada’s largest sports and entertainment district has harnessed fan passion, design excellence, community spirit, innovation and record-breaking crowds to reenergize and revitalize Downtown Edmonton and create a world-renowned destination for residents and visitors alike. ICE District is anchored by Rogers Place and flanked by ICE District Plaza and Fan Park @ ICE District—steps away from a wide variety of upscale gaming, dining, shopping, the JW Marriott ICE District and Edmonton’s finest retail and office space.

Rogers Place

Rogers Place is a world-class sports and entertainment venue in North America and the home of the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers. Live performances include Lady Gaga, Drake, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Bruno Mars, Cold Play and nine consecutive sold-out shows by Garth Brooks, to name just a few. The arena has won multiple awards for exemplary architecture and is fully integrated with Ford Hall and ICE District Plaza for multi-site festivals and other major events.

Salisbury Village

Salisbury Village is a mixed-use residential and commercial development in Sherwood Park, Alberta with expansive wetlands, forested areas and green spaces. This 70-acre community includes a variety of housing types and two integrated retail sites for local and area-wide shops and services. Managed by our partners Avillia Developments, Salisbury Village has become one of Sherwood Park’s most sought-after communities.
