Hugh Weber
CEO, OEGSE
As CEO, Hugh Weber leads OEGSE’s integrated sports, entertainment and real estate businesses, including the Edmonton Oilers, Bakersfield Condors, Edmonton Oil Kings, Rogers Place, ICE District, live entertainment and event operations, media and content, and the continued development of ICE District. In his role, Weber reports directly to Oilers owner and Chairman Daryl Katz and serves as an Alternate Governor on the NHL Board of Governors. Weber works closely with President of parent company DAK Holdings, Brad Gilewich.
A respected sports industry executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience, Weber has built a reputation for driving business growth, innovation and organizational excellence across professional sports and entertainment. Prior to joining OEGSE, he served as President of Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC. He previously held senior leadership roles with Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, including President of the New Jersey Devils, Prudential Center and overseeing the Philadelphia 76ers, as well as President of the NBA's New Orleans Hornets.
